2025 Flexible Choice CSA
Uphill Farm is again offering a flexible choice CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) plan this year. Your share in our CSA lets you pick exactly what you want at a farmers market or through our online store. You won’t end up with too much of something that you really aren’t that excited about. There is no obligation on your part to buy weekly if you won’t be around, or for any other reason. You can buy as much or as little as you want at one time.
We will have special sales at our farm early and late in the season. You can pre-order at our online store for market or farm pickup. Your CSA share is good for all produce at market or in our online store, including plant starts, vegetables, berries, herbs, flowers, microgreens, and farm-made products like pesto or jam. We cannot give the 10% discount on eggs, sheepskins, or other animal products, although you can still use your CSA balance to purchase those items at full price.
We are offering this Flexible Choice CSA to help make quality produce even more affordable for our regular customers and give you flexibility of choice. By ordering online in advance of a market (if you choose to) you will be sure to get the best quality produce and you don’t have to worry about us selling out before you get to a market.
This how the Uphill Farm Flexible Choice CSA works:
- You prepay $50 or more any time. There is no cut-off date to join our CSA, although we may close membership when we feel that we have reached capacity. You can join anytime membership is open, but your CSA balance will expire on December 31, 2025. We do not give refunds or roll over balances.
- You can add to your share balance at any time before September 1, 2025.
- We add 10% to your CSA share balance. So, your $50 share becomes $55, $100 becomes $110, $200 becomes $220, and so on. Shares apply to anything we sell at any of the markets we go to, and to our online store, as well as at our special sales we have outside of the market.
- This CSA does not apply to our produce in retail stores.
If you are familiar with what we grow then you know that we strive to have early produce and only offer the best quality plants, vegetables, and berries for sale. Nothing we sell is grown by anyone else; we do not resell. If that changes, we will specify the producer. We try some new varieties every year to go along with proven winners. We have also greatly increased the number of our plant starts available, vegetables, flowers and herbs.
If this sounds like something that would interest you, please see our Uphill Farm CSA Application and Agreement page.
Once we receive your application we will send payment information. We accept credit cards, Venmo, cash or check.
